29th Apr

United Churches scored 178 for 5 in their 45 overs with Steve Duffy and Rob Burry both taking 2 wickets. All Cannings replied with 174 for 9 in 45 overs. With Richard Mansell scoring 105, they needed 4 off the last ball to tie the match but couldn't quite manage it. An enjoyable game to start the season.
6th May Great Bedwyn cancelled the match due to rain.
13th May

Batting first, All Cannings could only reach a total of 116 all out in 32.3 overs. Chris Bailey top scored with 50. In reply, Trowbridge made just 95 all out thanks to some good bowling from Nathan Robinson with 3 wickets for 8 runs, Garry Perrit with 2 wickets for 23 and Terry Paterson with 1 for 5 in 6 overs.

20th May Cancelled
3rd June Batting first, Blunsdon scored 78 all out thanks to Gary Hargreaves with 4 for 24 and Chris 'Postman Pat' Bailey with 3 for 5. In reply, All Cannings reached the total for the loss of 2 wickets thanks to Andy 'Tats' Plank (30*) and Graham 'Stumpie' Mansell (17*).
10th June Batting first, Highworth scored at a steady pace and finished with a total of 175 all out. Good bowling performances from Paul 'Gurney' Hiscock with 4 wickets for 36 and Chris 'Postman Pat' Bailey with 4 for 39. IN reply, All Cannings started slowly but managed to speed things up half way through and managed to reach the total with Nathan 'Popeye' Robinson scoring the winning runs. Also in the runs were Richard 'Titch' Mansell (47) and Andy 'Tats' Plank (40).
17th June Batting first, Spye Park raced away and scored 256 for 9 with the only bowler to do anything being Gary 'Chomper' Perritt with 3 for 13. In reply, All Cannings never even looked in the game, only Richard 'Titter' Lavis (42) doing something with the bat and we finished on 104 all out.
24th June Batting first, All Cannings scored 136 for 9 thanks to Richard 'Titch' Mansell (23) and Richard 'Big Bird' Sykes (29). IN reply, with some tight bowling and good fielding, Biddestone were made to work for the winning runs which came in the last over.
1st July Batting first, All Cannings scored 170 for 8 thanks to Richard 'Titch' Mansell (61), Andy 'Tats' Plank (32) and Paul 'Gurney' Hiscock (22*). In reply, Chippenham were struggling to keep up with the run rate with some good bowling and tight fielding and fell short og the total with Jamie 'Spags' Selby taking 4 for 25 and some very good wicket keeping from Richard 'Titch' Mansell.
8th July Batting first, Great Bedwyn scored 193 for 5 with Jamie 'Spags' Selby taking 3 wickets for 55. The score could have been different if Gary 'Chomper' Perritt had held the caught and bowled chance with the opener on 0 - who went on to score 87! In reply, All Cannings were always behind the run rate but managed to score 180 all out with good batting from Richard 'Titch' Mansell (40) and Jamie 'Spags' Selby (44).
15th July Batting first, Trowbridge scored very quickly and reached 269 for 4. Not a good day for the bowlers and in the field. All Cannings were struggling from ball 1 and, losing wickets, were well behind until Paul 'Gurney' Hiscock with 126 and 'Huggie' Saye (33) took the score up to 247 all out.
22nd July Cancelled
29th July Batting first, All Cannings scored steadily and put up a total of 190 for 8 thanks to Richard 'Titch' Mansell (41), Andy 'Tats' Plank (30) and Huggie Saye (36). In reply, United Churches were strugglionig to get going with some tight bowling and fielding. All Cannings bowled them out for a score of 102 thanks to Huggie Saye with 3 for 17, Gary Hargreaves 3 for 15 and Graham 'Stumpie' Mansell with 2 for 19.
5th Aug

Batting first, Blunsden scored at a steady rate but then some good bowling and fielding kept Blunsden down to 140 all out. Gary Hargreaves with 3 wickets and Gary 'Chomper' Perrit and Graham 'Stumpie' Mansell taking 2 wickets each. In reply, All Cannings started slowly, losing 4 early wickets, but a good partnership with Andy 'Tats' Plank (47) and Richard 'Big Bird' Sykes (13) won the game for us.

12th Aug Batting first, All Cannings got off to a good start with Richard 'Titch' Mansell (38) and Richard 'Titter' Lavis (39). Then a bit of a batting collapse and we finished on 156 all out. In reply, Highworth lost quick wickets then pushed us all the way to the end but we finally got them all out for 138 thanks to some good bowling from Gary Hargreaves and Hugo Saye with 4 wickets each and a good fielding performance from Richard 'Jonty' Sandford-Hill with 3 catches.
19th Aug match abandoned half way through due to rain
26th Aug Batting first, All Cannings lost an early wicket but a steady partnership for the second wicket put us in a better position, finally reaching a total of 174 for 9 thanks to Graham 'Peanut' Mansell (59), Richard 'Titter' Lavis 45, and a quick fire 26 from Gary Hargreaves. In reply, Biddestone scored slowly and were never up with the run rate and finished on 138 all out. Good bowling in his first game for the league side was Olly Goodall with 5 overs for 6 runs, also Graham 'Peanut' Mansell with 4 wickets and Gary Hargreaves 3 wickets.
2nd September Batting first, Chippenham scored at a steady rate but lost wickets through the middle order and finished on 168 all out. Good bowling from Gary Hargreaves, Graham 'Peanut' Mansell, Chris 'Postie' Bailey all taking 3 wickets each. In reply, All Cannings started off at a steady pace with Graham 'Peanut' Mansell 35, Andy 'Tats' Plank 27, Paul 'Gurner' Hiscock 40, Gary Hargreaves 33 brought us home with 5 wickets in hand.
