All Cannings CC Youth Cricket 2008

We have regular coaching and run U.11 and U.13 sides which play matches in the Kennet league. This season we also hope to have some U9 fixtures and are aiming to build on the start we made in girl's cricket last year.

It's a great focal point for the village community, but we also welcome young players from other nearby local communities. Many of our older 'colts' are now playing in the adult teams, some have moved onto bigger clubs and have even represented Wiltshire.

Parents are encouraged to get involved too - especially with helping out at Juniors' matches as the coaches are all volunteers!

Coaching & Nets:

We can call on up to five qualified ECB cricket coaches. Outdoor nets for colts are on Wednesday evenings from 9th May at 6pm (U11 squad) 7pm (U13 squad) at the All Cannings ground.

Fixtures:

Both U13 and U11 play fixtures in the Kennet League. We also have a number of friendly U11 fixtures. Although we are not winning many games at the moment, our squads are young and our emphasis is on allowing as many players as possible to experience cricket matches and to have a bat and a bowl.
